The Kansas Civic Network collaborated with the Farmers Union, Salina Media Connection, and National Farm Research on a proposal to the Organic Crop Improvement Association, Plains Region TOPPS program to develop a pilot project focused on the minority majority counties of Ford, Seward, and Finney including the three cities of Dodge City, Garden City and Liberal located in the geographical marketing area of Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle.
