Russell brings a background in nonprofit leadership, advocacy, youth development, communications, and organizational strategy. Raised in Clay Center, Kansas, he went on to graduate from Wichita State University in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
His work centers on leadership development, community engagement, and building programs that give people real opportunities to learn, grow, and lead. Russell is especially passionate about work that brings people together around a shared goal and helps turn participation into meaningful involvement.
From building communications campaigns and writing copy, to developing programs, having the difficult conversations, and above all supporting others, Russell's focus has always been on helping people create positive change in their communities.
