At the Kansas Civic Network, our hearts are with the individuals, families, and communities across Kansas impacted by recent severe weather.
With wind gusts reaching up to 130 mph in some parts of the state and flooding affecting homes, farms, businesses, and critical infrastructure, many Kansans are facing difficult days ahead.
We are grateful for the first responders, utility crews, local officials, volunteers, and neighbors working tirelessly to keep communities safe and support recovery efforts.
Kansas is resilient. Time and again, we come together to help one another through challenges and emerge stronger. As recovery continues, please stay informed, follow local safety guidance, check on your neighbors, and always be weather aware.
Our thoughts remain with every community affected across the state.
