HUMBERTO GOMEZ SALINAS
Board Member
My name is Humberto Gomez Salinas and I am from the city of Queretaro in Central Mexico. I moved to Kansas in 2017 to study at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. I graduated in 2022 with a degree in Economics and another degree in History. Ever since I moved to Kansas I have been involved in serving the local community and the people of Kansas through different organizations and groups such as the KU Student Senate and Habitat for Humanity. I served as Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the Student Senate and also as Chief of Staff, being the first international student ever hired in the history of KU for the Student Senate executive board. It is an honor to be able to bring the experiences and skills I learned in those positions to the Kansas Civic Network and I look forward to working with the team and the local/state/federal community to improve the lives of Kansans
